In the interests of the comfort and safety of our visitors, and the welfare and safety of the animals living on our farm, we kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with these Rules and Regulations and to comply with them. Failure to comply with these Rules and Regulations or the instructions of our staff may result in you being asked to leave the premises or in the relevant authorities being called.
Terms and conditions of stay
- These Terms and Conditions apply to both individuals and organised groups.
- During your stay, please follow the instructions and guidance given by the animal carers.
- Visits to Izerskie Alpak are by prior booking only. If you need to cancel a booked visit, please let us know by telephone as soon as possible. We reserve the right to change the visiting schedule; we will keep you informed of any changes on our website or via social media. Changes to visit bookings may only be made following prior consultation with the person who made the booking.
- Please keep quiet whilst on the premises of Izerskie Alpak. Running, shouting and any other behaviour that may cause the animals stress is prohibited within the enclosure.
- Children and young people under the age of 18 may only be on the premises of Izerskie Alpak when accompanied by their parents or guardians.
- Parents or guardians bear full responsibility for minors.
- We encourage you to wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather conditions. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and avoiding high heels, flip-flops and sandals.
- Before entering the enclosures, please remove or hide any jewellery that the animals might pull off (necklaces, dangling earrings, etc.).
- Clothing should be free from any decorations that animals might pull off. Swallowing such items could be dangerous to their health and life.
- You must not enter the enclosures with food or drink.
- You must not bring nets, plastic bags, etc. into the enclosures. You are permitted to enter with rucksacks and handbags that do not have sequins, studs or other decorations that could harm the animals.
- You must not enter the pens whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Smoking – including tobacco, tobacco products, e-cigarettes, etc. – is strictly prohibited on the premises. Smoking is only permitted outside the premises.
- It is forbidden to climb over or onto barriers, fences and hedges.
- It is forbidden to place or let children sit on animals, fences or barriers.
- Animals may only be fed food provided by their carer.
- Dogs and other animals (including those carried in the arms, in baskets, in carriers, etc.) are not permitted.
- Entry onto the premises implies acceptance of these Rules and Regulations.
Liability
We accept no liability for accidents or damage resulting from a failure to comply with the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions or to follow the instructions of the animal carers and venue staff. We accept no liability for items left behind or lost on the premises of Izerskie Alpak.
Cancellation of the walk
We reserve the right to cancel alpaca walks or refuse to admit a group in the event of unexpected or sudden weather conditions or other factors beyond our control. Times agreed in advance may be subject to change depending on the weather, the condition of the alpacas or the size of the groups.
