Frequently Asked Questions
Opening hours, how to get there and parking, payment options, dogs, pushchairs, toilets and souvenirs – everything you ask about most often.
When can we visit you?
We organise walks and visits to the farm all year round! We’re closed on Mondays, and you can always check our current opening hours for the other days on Google.
What is included in the price of the walk?
The price of the walk includes a portion of carrots to feed the alpacas and a visit to the enclosure lasting up to 30 minutes.
What payment methods do you accept? Do you issue invoices?
We accept payment by cash and via BLIK. We are happy to issue invoices for anyone who requires one.
Can I take my dog for a walk?
No. For the comfort and safety of our alpacas, dogs are strictly prohibited on the farm and during walks.
Can I book a walk with just one alpaca?
That’s not possible. Alpacas are extremely sociable animals, which is why there are always two of them on every walk.
Are children allowed to enter the paddock on their own?
Safety is paramount – which is why children and young people under the age of 18 may only be in the enclosure under the supervision of an adult guardian.
What happens if I’m late for my appointment?
Our schedule is tight, as the alpacas need time to rest between walks, and the next groups are waiting for their turn. For this reason, if you arrive late, the duration of the walk will be shortened proportionally. We encourage you to be punctual!
What if the weather’s bad?
The welfare of our animals is our top priority. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a walk in the event of adverse weather conditions, such as heat, rain, storms or snowstorms. We will keep you informed of any changes as they arise.
What’s the best way to dress for an appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, layered clothing suitable for the current weather. As we’ll be walking outdoors on natural terrain, please make sure you wear sturdy, comfortable shoes (e.g. trainers or walking boots). It’s a good idea to choose clothes that you won’t mind getting a bit dirty whilst playing with the animals!
How do I get there, and is there a car park on site?
Getting to our farm is very easy – you can reach us with no trouble by car, bike, on foot or by free public transport. We provide on-site parking for our guests.
Is the site wheelchair-accessible?
Yes! We want everyone to be able to visit us with ease. Our flooring is fully accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Is there a toilet on the premises?
Although we are close to nature, we ensure that our visitors have all the basic amenities they need. We provide a portable toilet (Toi Toi) on site for our guests.
Can you buy souvenirs there?
‘Shop’ might be a bit of an exaggeration, but we’ve set up a small, cosy little corner full of souvenirs for you! There you can buy our handmade items – including souvenir magnets, adorable soft toys and unique products made from genuine alpaca wool. It’s the perfect way to take a little piece of our alpacas home with you!
